DESCRIPTION
Spring Heel Jack is a 50' traditional stern narrow beam built in 1985 using European Steel to a narrowboat configuration. Propulsion is provided by a Perkins 4.108 4-cylinder diesel inboard engine. Featuring a traditional layout.
On entry to the boat from the stern into a engine room. There 240v power onboard and this is converted to 12v electric via the large inverter fitted on the port side with an AC breaker/distribution unit. There are muliple solar panels onboard the boat regulated by x3 solar charge contollers, these are connected to the 12v battery bank. The battery bank is made up of x5 lead acid leisure units, and x2 separate starter lead acid units. Into the bedroom fitted with a large double bed with storage at the foot of the bed. Next is the off-corridor shower room, fitted with a large stand-up shower with hip-bath, porta potty WC and a vanity basin.
Then, into the walkthrough galley, fitted with a gas oven, grill and a 4-burner integrated integrated hob, 12v Fridge, washing machine, and a sink. A side hatch is adjacent to this and provides additional light and traditional features whilst walking through.
Finally, into the saloon with seating on both sides of the boat. A solid fuel stove provides the heating throughout the vessel. The bow door lead to a social space at the nose of the boat housed by a cratch cover.
The most recent blacking is as of 2021 and has a current boat safety certificate expiry upon request.
