Galactica is a 65' x 12'6 high specification luxurious Dutch barge style wide beam liveaboard built in 2024 by Collingwood Boat Builders and fit-out professionally that same year. later in the same year. Propulsion is provided by a 90HP Barrus Shire diesel engine. She is our largest specification wide beam to date.

Featuring a popular reverse layout with a cruiser stern and wheelhouse with an 8’6 air draught, hydraulic wheel steering, Vetus bow and stern thrusters. 

Entering onto the stern there is a seating area, complete with easy access roof deck. On entry to the ultra-modern wheelhouse converted into a galley, this contemporary, and open-plan design will take your breath away.

The galley is fitted with a fridge and freezer, 3 burner hobs dishwasher, and washing machine. The oven, grill, and built-in microwave are fitted conveniently at a low level to provide counter space and storage along the cabin. The galley features butcher block worktops, and one of its main features is one x3 Webasto skylight above the island.

Leading on to the saloon, there is a Morso Squirrel stove. The headroom is approximately 8ft from floor to ceiling. The TV is fitted under the gunwale to perfection. 

If you require an office workspace or a 2nd bedroom for children, then the additional room on the starboard side of the corridor, currently being used as a tidy snug, is perfect for you to incorporate your ideas into.

Onward to the off-corridor shower room on the port side with a large double shower, Vetus pump-out toilet, twin sinks, and tiled flooring.

Finally, at the wraparound bow of the boat is the master bedroom a large bed with storage is in the centre of the room, with floor-to-ceiling wardrobes fitted to the right and left at the foot of the bed. There is a pop-up TV fitted in the bed itself and this can be operated by remote control.
