LONGWAVE

Longwave is a 57ft narrowboat built in 2006 by CNM Boat Builders LTD, offering a beautifully presented example of a traditional layout with a semi traditional stern. Recently benefitting from a comprehensive refit, she is presented in immaculate, clean, and modern condition, making her an excellent choice for both liveaboard use and leisure cruising. Propulsion is provided by a 43HP Beta Marine diesel engine with shaft drive, having covered approximately 200–300 hours and serviced in 2026.

Entering from the stern, the boat opens into a well-arranged master bedroom, fitted with a fixed double bed, providing a comfortable and practical sleeping space. The interior finish throughout reflects the recent refit, with a clean and modern feel.

Moving forward, the shower room is fitted with a pump-out toilet, shower, and basin/vanity, finished in keeping with the rest of the boat’s updated interior.

The galley follows, offering a functional and well-equipped space for onboard living. It is fitted with a gas oven and grill with a four-burner hob, 12v fridge, and washing machine, providing all the essentials for extended cruising or residential use.

At the bow, the boat opens into a bright and welcoming saloon, featuring a half Pullmans dinette, creating a flexible seating and dining area ideal for relaxing or entertaining.

Longwave is equipped with shore power, a 3kW inverter, and a battery bank comprising four 110Ah domestic lead-acid batteries alongside a 110Ah starter battery. She also benefits from solar panels with an MPPT controller, supporting efficient off-grid capability.

Heating is supplied via an Eberspacher diesel heating system, while hot water is provided through a calorifier and immersion.

In terms of maintenance, the boat has seen significant recent works, including a survey carried out in 2026, hull blacking completed in 2026, and a full repaint in 2026, giving confidence in her overall condition and presentation.
